Our Lead Galaxy Sponsor is…

We originally had plans for two Lead Sponsors for our project, however The Floral Hall & Café had other ideas and instead offered to become our ONLY Lead Sponsor. This is so important for the project, The Floral Hall is a core part of the Hornsea community and a beacon along our sea front. We are absolutely delighted to be working in partnership with The Floral Hall and look forward to seeing their Starfish in situ at the start of 2026!

As Lead Galaxy sponsor, the Directors of the Floral Hall had first choice of all of the artist designs and selected the design by established artist, Katy Cobb. Katy’s design features the seafront and even a seagull (which is an important link to Sinbad, The Floral Hall’s mascot).

The Floral Hall is a multi-purpose venue which can be hired for many and varied uses, which is run as a charity for the benefit of the residents of Hornsea. It is run by a committee of volunteer directors, supported by an invaluable workforce of volunteers.
