Artists Applications

Some of the talented artists who have submitted their starfish galaxy designs have also been involved in creating other art sculpture designs for Puffins Galore, A Mischief of Rats and other art trails across Yorkshire and beyond. This was so exciting that we had a group of artists who truly believed in what we were trying to achieve in our home town and wanted to be part of the journey.

Although we gave all of the artists the same design brief, their individual research and ideas ensured that every design ended up being completely unique. We are so excited about the variety of designs which are vibrant and creative, all supporting the story of the importance of starfish in our coastal environment.

Our six artists are Katy Cobb, Tom Everard, Judy Flanagan, Emma Garness, Charlotte Eldred and Helen Rowland - their individual designs can be located via the tab ‘Starfish Designs’ in the header of this website.
